A feel good day

Today was one of those days where I simply felt good. I had more energy than I’ve had in a while (although this energy has now been completely used up and is gone!) I walked a lot, put on my make up and I rocked this new awesome shirt my sister in law sent me!

I have loved having my little family back together so much. I didn’t realize how much of myself was missing just by being apart from my family. Even though I’m totally and completely exhausted now, I’m so glad to have had this day together as a family. Michael, Sarah, both of our moms. The love is UNREAL. I can’t believe how blessed we are to have so many people that love us so much. People we don’t even know have shown us so much love. I’m so incredibly thankful. So Praise God for a feel good day!!

  1. Isn’t it amazing how God can bless our lives during the most difficult of times? Since going through my own cancer journey, those closest to me know how often I celebrate how “God blesses those who trust Him!” But what is even equally as amazinge is how YOU then bless others by sharing your story. 🙂 (No, you aren’t supposed to recognize my name. I am a friend of a friend of your aunt–don’t even bother to try to figure it out!–just know that a friend you haven’t met yet in IL is praying for you!!)

  6. Stephanie you look great and love the shirt you’re wearing. I know it meant to much to you to have both your moms and Sarah and of course Michael with you today. Just remember it’s one step at a time! I’m so glad you have soooo many people praying for you and ones you don’t even know. That just goes to show you how God works even through strangers. They don’t know what a great mother, wife, daughter and daughter in law you are but we do and they can see it in your face and your Blogs. I know I can see in your face the love for your family and know your day WAS amazing. I know there will be many more to come your way. We’ll all keep praying in GA, CA, SC, and many other places on this end. Love to you all. LYMOYID

  7. Stephanie-it’s Sue, from St. Mary (Franklin/Springboro.) I found a card to send to you, then remembered I don’t have an address, so until you go home, I’d love to share the sentiments with you. When I was diagnosed way back when, my brother sent a card to me with the same verse. It made such a big impression that ten years later, I have the card framed and hanging in my bedroom. Here goes:

    WHAT CANCER CANNOT DO!
    It cannot cripple love.
    It cannot shatter hope.
    It cannot corrode faith.
    It cannot eat away peace.
    It cannot kill friendship.
    It cannot suppress memories.
    It cannot silence courage.
    It cannot invade the soul.
    It cannot steal eternal life.
