A break from everything

I am still set to have surgery sometime this morning/afternoon but I want to take a minute away from it all to talk about my amazing husband. Fun fact: today is his BIRTHDAY!! I hate more than anything that I’m having such an invasive and risky surgery on his birthday because birthdays are so important to me! It’s a day all about you!!! But my hope is that I can give him the gift of hope and the gift of a hysterical wife on drugs. He really is the greatest man and husband I know. I have never loved one person so much in my life (Sarah is a close second). As we were traveling to Oklahoma someone stopped us to ask if we were newly weds, that is how much our love is present, even after almost 6 years of being together. I seriously can’t imagine my life without him

I appreciate all the prayers and messages but today I am asking that you pray for my sweet husband. I can’t even imagine how scared he is. If we were to trade places, I would be a wreck. And I hate more than anything that this has to be on his birthday. So if you could send him sweet wishes, I would appreciate it. I just want him to feel as special as he really is. Because my surgery fell on his birthday we celebrated together Wednesday evening when we got to Oklahoma! Isn’t he the cutest?!

I’m not sure what my state will be after surgery, but Michael said he would post a post op update on here. Thank you for all the continued support and prayers. Hoping we can get this ball rolling!

  8. Stephanie, I am one of your mom’s friends in Florida. Your posts are inspiring and I so admire your courage. I have often times lost faith during my battles but I realize I am still standing…something got me through it all. It’s my strength that was given to me…its my faith in myself…but most of all its my faith that God has good things planned for all of us. Stay strong. You are blessed to have such a wonderful love in your life and people around you who love you. You can DO THIS! And Michael, you are going to have the best birthday present ever! Have FAITH in that!   9. Happy happy birthday Michael and I can’t imagine what your feeling and going through . Men are naturally fixers and I know through Ashleys health issues she has that it breaks his heart he can’t fix it BUT THE GOOD NEWS is God is a healer and he is the comforter….He is right there with His arms around you and his hand guiding the doctors. Love you kiddo !
