Man, this week has not slowed down!! After my interview with ABC, our story started traveling even more. I received a call this morning from CBN (Christian broadcasting Network) and they interviewed me today for another story. It made me smile though; when a woman from CBN called me this morning, she said she watched me last night on ABC and she said “I bet this young lady is a Christian!” It made me so happy to hear her say that. That means that my story and testimony is being heard in the way God intends it to be heard. I never thought that this is where I would be at 27 but here I am. And here I will stay continuing to share my story and the miracles that have already happened and the ones to come.
In addition to that, I will be speaking in front of a panel of doctors, nurses, and reporters here in Oklahoma. It will be live to view on OU Medicines Facebook page at 1 pm eastern tomorrow, 4/11!
I woke up a few nights ago to my name being spoken again. So that makes 3 total times. I found it funny that I have heard my name being called 3 separate times now and then I was given the opportunity to share my story 3 consecutive days! And everything comes in theees in the Bible. It’s just so cool! I definitely feel this is what I’m being called to do, but God has a sense of humor because I really dislike public speaking. Looks like I’m going to need to get over that really soon!
So as I said, it’s been a bit of a crazy week! I was able to spend the weekend with more family, my brother and sister in law, and it was so great. There’s something about having my big brother here with me. I’m sure it’s hard for him taking it all in. I’m his baby sister. If this were reversed I would be devastated. It’s so much easier being on this side of it. Our families really are the greatest though. They have all been so loving and supportive through all of this. I can’t imagine going through this without them or having a better support system. Family is the best.

Dont like public speaking……hmmm neither did Moses, Jonah, Rick Warren throws up every time he speaks before he speaks. God said, “My grace is sufficent for you for my power is perfected in weakness” 2 Corinthians 12:9 My dear, your God is stronger than any weakness you may have!

Stephanie, we’ve never met, but I’m reading your blog in Italy (I first heard your story through a Catholic wives group). I am inspired by your optimism and faith and loving spirit. I am praying daily for you and leaving lighted candles and prayer requests in all the churches I visit in this land of saints.

I bet at the beginning of all this you never considered being famous…getting the word out that miracles still happen and faith in him who walks beside us and is with us always. Is truly inspiration from above.
